Associations have moved beyond event-centric strategic planning to ongoing strategic management.  In such cases association leaders are always strategically focused and routinely engage in strategic thinking as they perform their various roles.  The strategic planning process becomes a periodic activity to step back, rethink and reassess the association’s mission and the relevance of goals and strategies currently in play.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Learn if your strategic plan is meaningful to your organization.
  • Hear comparisons on internal v.s. outside Consultants.
  • Learn if your organization created an “opportunity fund” or similar, how it could be successful.
