This C-Level executive roundtable discussion lead by Michele Kimball, Executive Director, American Nephrology Nursing Association (ANNA), and Rich Bar, President, GKG, PC Law will be an exploration of key areas in board governance essential for nonprofit associations and tax-exempt organizations. Participants will share best practices around various board governance issues such as number of board members, establishing effective term limits, and conducting regular reviews of organizational Bylaws to ensure relevance and compliance. The educational discussion will also cover essential corporate governance principles, emphasizing the importance of robust Board member training and orientation programs. Additionally, the educational discussion highlights the critical relationship between the board and the executive director, providing tools to foster collaboration and a shared vision for organizational success.
