As industries evolve and workforce demands shift, associations have a unique opportunity to shape the future of workforce development. In this executive roundtable, association leaders will engage in a dynamic discussion on how their organizations can bridge the gap between industry needs and professional education. Participants will explore strategies for developing skills-based training, credentialing programs, and industry partnerships that provide tangible value to members. This collaborative session will offer insights into leveraging workforce development as a key driver for member engagement, retention, and long-term industry impact.

  • Analyze the role of associations in workforce development by evaluating how they bridge industry needs and professional education, and compare traditional networking-focused associations with career-driven, talent-development organizations.
  • Identify emerging trends in credentialing and micro-credentialing, and assess their impact on career pathways and employer recognition.
  • Develop strategies for attracting and retaining younger professionals by aligning association benefits with career growth opportunities and evolving workforce expectations.
